I'm sure this seller was a bit surprised to see this final figure. I know I would have been.

Heck, if I could sell 2 or 3 of those a month, I might be able to actually keep some of my real varieties and errors.

It is surprising what machine doubling can bring. It is a curiosity; however, not at that price.

Maybe the bidders thought it had two obverses???

$173.51????? Unexplainable and maddening. I recall seeing the listing when it went up and was like whatever and didn't give it a second thought...

And I just noticed someone also paid this seller $69 for a '69S MD HERE (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150414072823). What is wrong with these bidders?

What is wrong with these bidders?

The question is...where are these bidders when I'm listing? :LOL_Hair:

True stories. A number of LCR members (including you Rock) have accurately listed varieties for sale on the 'Bay and not getting bidders like these numb-nuts who are bidding on these crappy MD examples. Someone needs to steer these bidders to correct listings in a hurry.

I can't get more than 25 bucks for a XF-AU 1971 1DO-001 and these numb nutz are getting that kind of money, you gotta wonder what is going on. As a matter of fact I have sold some very nice coins in the past few months and I don't think I am doing it right, LOL.
