The Coin is a nice AU. It only has that rim damage, which is of course right next to the initials.

Looks llike a carbon fleck or some dust just north of the date also. Either way you qualify to join the RDV-006 club:occasion16:.

It is hard to tell because it is circulated. Looks like DIE 1 to me. Look at the Die Scratches from T in Cent.

I'm amazed that page is still up on eBay after 5 months! Thanks, CCC, it's too bad we can't sell all of our cents for that kind of markup!

Congrats Brad. Credibility is going way up with more and more experts joining and helping to "learn us Rookies their experience" as Yogi Berra would say.

That's part of the reason why I wanted to start a give-away thread. People like free stuff and will join up to win said prizes. Some may join only for the prizes but most will start conversing on the forums.

Brad, seriously, this forum/website may start spreading to other types of coins soon...

Thanks!

Anyone know exactly what the breakdown is regarding the 4 different dies- how many from each die have been found?

I'd especially like to know how many from the Stage A, Die 2 , which this coin is.

*Side note- anyone recollect what price and grade was the 1988 RDV-006 that was for sale on Ebay last year actually was sold for?

I'd like to at least get a feel of value and decide if I want this cent slabbed or keep it raw.

Thanks for any help on this.

Chuck.

Chuck.

Ebay item#320296557029 sold for $150.00 on Sept. 10, 2008. The coin was AU/BU raw. Hope this helps.
