Hello fellow Non~spenders.
This is my 1st post here and wish to find a fellowship of folks that take pleasure in looking at common things that become un~common if you look at them too long......like Copper Coins.
My interest began in the mid 50's when some shyster tried to pay off their newspaper tab with an item I set aside because it was "odd".
I took it to Grandma to ask her if it was really money.
Of course, it was a 1943 Lincoln Cent. She said it was Ok, I should use/keep or place it on the trolley tracks at my discretion. :tinysmile_hmm_t:
Then she showed me some really BIG pennies from the past that She had kept.
So I kept mine separate, just because I decided to spend it "Later" because it interested me.
Now I'm finding out Grandma and I were not alone in this endeavor.
So I joined up here to see what you consider interesting and why.:squigglemouth:
