Hello fellow Non~spenders.

This is my 1st post here and wish to find a fellowship of folks that take pleasure in looking at common things that become un~common if you look at them too long......like Copper Coins.

My interest began in the mid 50's when some shyster tried to pay off their newspaper tab with an item I set aside because it was "odd".

I took it to Grandma to ask her if it was really money.

Of course, it was a 1943 Lincoln Cent. She said it was Ok, I should use/keep or place it on the trolley tracks at my discretion. :tinysmile_hmm_t:

Then she showed me some really BIG pennies from the past that She had kept.

So I kept mine separate, just because I decided to spend it "Later" because it interested me.

Now I'm finding out Grandma and I were not alone in this endeavor.

So I joined up here to see what you consider interesting and why.:squigglemouth:

Well you've certainly come to the right place; to expand your knowledge on what you already enjoy. "coin collecting". I also picked up this malady from my grand parents in the 50's.
