What is that it is struck through? I see that alot on wheats.

Yep, but not on wheats alone, lots of other denominations as well. A good book to have is "The Error Coin Ecyclopedia" second edition: by Arnold Margolis. It discusses and is loaded with pictures of over 60 types of errors. ( All the ones discussed on this forum up to this point and quite a bit more )
Struck Trough errors are pictured and decribed on page 255.

Hi Guys,
The one shown at the top of the thread is not a struck through error. It is a lamination error.

I beleive that is correct it shoud be moved to lamination errors. Here is a BU lamination error for comparison...
