I wonder about the bottom serif, is it actually split or did the coin take a hit at that spot? The top of the mintmark could be doubled, but it could also be die wear or machine doubling. I cannot find an example of an rpm like that for 1935D to compare.

That is why I am posting the pictures of these coins. My eyes aren't trained enough nor good enough to determine if the coins are keepers and I can't find a picture that will match enough to make a determination. Oh, I have used CopperCoins to make thousands of determinations, but I have several that I cannot make a good match with and it's frustrating at the least.

Whenever I get coins like these to attribute, I unfortunately have to return them as unknowns. There seems to be some machine doubling, but there also appears to be a hit, and maybe portions of a real RPM there. I am sorry, but this one would be one of those 'unknowns'. I have not seen anything like this for this year 1935.
