I have a 1972 Lincoln Cent with a misaligned obverse die. Notice that the rim is much thicker at 7 o'clock and 8 o'clock than it is at 1 o'clock and 2 o'clock.

The reverse is perfectly centered.

What is this coin worth?

Not much more than face value. The mint has a tolerance on MAD (misaligned dies), and unfortunately, this is far within tolerance.

the only mis-aligned dies i keep have to be "way off" the thick side has to have a doubled rim and the "skinny" sid must have no rim and must be in nice condition.
Either way - i have found them to be very common.

MADs only start to have a nominal value when parts of the design are missing...
