came back to the page and began to chuckle again..
Is that through the coin?
The holes are deep but not all the way thru. Cant see thru it. The roach got scared off by a pigeon b4 he completely demolished it.

I find these every so often... my theory is that they're a coin that's been either run-over or stepped on, on sand, so that there are numerous places where the zinc is exposed. Then, oxidation takes over and the zinc deteriorates and falls out. Just looks sad!
Wow. Good theory. Oh well, no cucaracha.
