Just wanted to stop and say hi. Im learning more about lincolns as I go but im jason and just wanted to say hi. Im usually working on my paper collections but lincoln cents keep me very busy. Between pulling copper cents ( giving me time to cherry pick when I have extra time. ) Right now im learning about the AM variations and looking for those in my trials of learning. So far pulled 2. Ill be around and posting taking pictures through my microscope so feel free to check them out.

thanks for the warm welcome. I really get into this stuff about as much as my large size national note collecting on the paper side ( which im just obsessed with). So hopefully I can find new things to share with you guys and gals. Basically at the moment im worrying about DDO DDR WIDE and CLose AM from 92-00 and 88 rev of 89s. If i focused on every single zincoln variation id never get through more than 1 box a day. I do pull all copper for copper content and also for me to later search as i roll by year and mint. making it easier to search mine when a new discovery is found.

My friend has a 73D that has a S hanging below the 2nd S in States. Kinda cool and now im searching all 73Ds for this oddity

There are a few ways that could happen, many of which would either be, a one of a kind error, or PMD. We would have to see a pic of the '73D of course.

Keep searching and posting!

Welcome to LCR. I am looking forward to seeing more pictures. Any chance you can get a shot of that 'hanging s' ? My initial thought is it might be a dropped letter. If so they are very rare.
