Ive been waiting to see what these go for compared to the cherry pickers pricing ( which I always believed to be high). Well I saw one tonight and out of boredom threw a bid out for it just to see what would come of it and how high it would go. and for 3.75 plus shipping won it. I wonder if 3.75 is really a going rate for them or if it was low end pricing. I know the saying its worth what someone will pay but do you feel this is a fair price or over or under valued?
The seller had bad pics but said its a 1998P in XF with no verdi gris ( green stuff) on the coin . so what say you. i bid to 5.00 as an experiment.

How many bids were made and how do you know if it is genuine.

Be very suspicious when they have bad pics or no pics. I saw one too but did not take the bait.

A '98 or '00 WAM circulated, will not likely go past $5...
A '99 WAM is a different story

I have sold several '98 WAMs and $5 to $8 is the best they have done.

for 3.75 not a big risk but figured try something new only 3 bids. I have a bunch so if this is a dud then lesson learned not to try something new. But I figure eh something new to try .
Every now and then we tend to do something like this against out greater knowledge on a risk. Low price means low risk. I think my Mind took a mini vacation for a minute when i placed my bid. Ill let you know how it turns out.

welp 1990 not a wam but still. like i said it wasnt a big risk and things like this happen when your bored at night , you take little risks on ebay.
At least theres a return policy on the coin. The guy told me if the coin isnt what I expect I can return it, With bad pictures wasnt this what was expected? lol oh well back to the drawing board like Wile E Coyote would say
Here's a 2000 1c WAM I just sold on eBay a couple of days ago. Obviously, not worth much.

The market is really depressed due to the economy with values continuing to drop. A revamp of the price guides is sorely needed.

Man, that's a nice 1998 for only $8.50!
I think the 99 might have graded MS-64 with a TPG. It might have been worth getting slabbed before selling it. My NGC 65 RD fetched $550 on the bay.
