Nice coin... That's the way to find 'em in BU. The Cherrypickers guide includes it soon and you got something.

People have only begun to start looking for the 2006 DDO. Once this 2006 DDO starts appearing every variety collector should be able to locate one in BU. Untill they do just keep on searching . Lots are out there.

But pickin'em out'ta change or rolls is pretty good return on your investment.

Congrats.

I made a mistake. I have 2006P-1DO-018, I'm looking for 2006P-1DO-017. I call them Die 3 and Die 4. They seem to sell for around $100.

Check out these Ebay auctions:

Brad, that 1DO-017, my CDDO-028 is a super nice variety. As far as I know it is still extremely difficult to locate. I sold one on eBay a while back and it brought a hammer bid of over $500 (Gem BU/Red specimen). I still have one in my collection and it's the EDS Stage (a) to boot.

Billy, do you have a list of all your CDDO #'s ? I would like to have a copy for reference.

Billy..

I would be especially be interested in CDDO#s like 1972 CDDO-013 which at this point in time does not have a CONECA cross reference #. In my opinion your 1972 CDDO-013 is nicer than the 1972 Doubled Die 7 (FS#: 1c-033.59).

related .. Are you looking to put out a LC Varieties VOL 2 soon ?

I'm working in the background on another Volume. It's just there are tons of varieties in my files. Plus, I do all the publishing and editing work on DVN magazine which takes up a great deal of my time.

Cool beans... will look forward to it.

Kind'a getting wind that there may be several more works in the fire for Licoln Cent variety hunters.

OK, now here is my plug for Vol 1.

L C hunter's ..if you do not have the book "A Detailed Analysis of Lincoln Cent Varieties Volume 1" . I recommend you get it. It is well worth it. And you will use it often in your cherry pickin' and roll searching adventures. I know I have. ( I'll get off my soap box now .. )

Sorry bout that ..
