ANACS graded and slabbed or not?

Jean: I deal with ANACS on a monthly basis and as soon as I saw the holders I figured it was for HSN or a TV promotion.

You are right ANACS would not have graded and slabbed your coins with the grade indicated and probably the reason here because it was bulk submission (for someone or company) with no serial numbers to track POP report on them.

Keep us posted on your final outcome.

      Thanks bunches Joe.
I will let everyone know if I get suitable replacements.
And, I have now learned valuable lessons about ANACS, or perhaps other grading companies too?.... mass slabbing is a very bad idea, and no way am I going to buy another slabbed coin unless it is properly authenticated. So there! (my four year old stubbornness is catching up to me, again).

Buy it when it is serialized on the holder by the grading company only. I hear what your saying about being stubborn>>>LOL

I did not think about HSN or such being the culprit because I bought from a dealer. Of course, that does not negate the idea that the slabs are damaged, and some of the coins have way too much post mint damage to be MS67... and I do not care who did the grading, or how fast they were graded, and for whom. I would have returned them to HSN if I had purchased them there.

At this point I have been contacted by the dealer and they have been very kind and offered replacements and to refund my return shipping cost. But I do think they will discover that my claim is justified, and if the next batch are not up to standards they too will be returned.

I do not ask for perfection in MS67 graded and slabbed coins. And, if I sent some of these coins to ANACS to be slabbed, I seriously doubt they would not give them as a good of a grade.

          Thanks bunches again!

I'm glad to hear you have at least resolved the issue on paper. I hope they replacement coins are better! Good Luck
