I'm sure people who sell in huge bulk couldn't possibly have the time to really search for varieties. But the nice, BU coins stick out like a sore thumb. I doubt there's a seller out there that doesn't pluck these out before selling. Would you guys agree?

Somebody like Dan does it all with machines...so I doubt he has the time to pluck BU coins..besides,being BU doesn't necessarily make them valuable, especially when you think about what some of the DDOs are worth.

I can not feel I have trust in either. But the "unsearched" bags are easier to spot. They are the ones without a nice fresh white thread which unfortunately most bags have.

Take the BU's; leave the varieties.

I like my local dealer best. He takes in stuff all the time, picks out any obvious key dates and dumps everything else together. He'll sell me full or half bags of wheats from this for 5 cents each. It about as close as you can get to "unsearched" wheats except for possibly friend or family that has just hoarded cents away for 30+ years.
