1978 Proof Type I MM

So these are not the best pictures but with a 20x Loupe and 10x it really looks like a S over D. But this is from a 1978 Proof Mint Set "S"

Pat,
This looks to be a TYPE I MM for the proof of that year. The TYPE I appears as more of a blob and the TYPE II is a clearer more defined MM.

Pat, what is going on with the "T" in Liberty? Is that a thread on the case or is that struck thru?

It's just wavy.. I think "thought" that it was normal on proofs..
