1997 D Dime rpm or just a big mess?

I have searched as many places as I can find to see if I can match this dime's mintmark to any known variety. Except for trails I have found only a couple of really cool anomalies. The extra bags under Roosevelt's eye are interesting. The reverse has some machine doubling but is otherwise fairly normal.
Is it possible this is an RPM, or just a broken mint mark punch. Did the mint use separate punches in 1997 on dimes?
    Thanks for checking,
    Jean

I'm not sure Jean, looks like it has possibilities, but there isn't really anything that close to the shape of a MM... Lets wait for the experts though

They haven't placed mintmarks on individual dies since 1989, not an RPM. Interesting though, I can see why you'd wonder.

Wouldn't be an RPM on a 1997 as they were not punched. I am thinking some sort of die damage around the area of the mint mark.

Definitely wasn't the Cherrypicker's Guide, you might be thinking of Strike it Rich, but it was never stated factually that is was a mintmark, just that the anomaly resembled it.

(jejejeje not true guys I am just still laughin about some thoughts I have, I am nuts some of you know that already so don't pay attenttion) About the coin, Alex, great find! Definitely I would be bumping my head against the wall, even though I new they stopt puching mint marks on WHEATS, I didn't knew Dimes also, so it definitely would have tricked me. Thanks to all hands on deck for the info, it looks really cool, I can give you a couple of names of phony ebay sellers I bet they would list it in a blink of an eye as an RPM (not true, going crazy again) he he, nice coin, so bad is not rpm. Thanks everyone for the info.
