Last year we bought a camera from Ray Parkhurst upon his recommendation for use photographing coins. We had planned proceeding with a professional photography set up. Well, time gets away from us and we never went forward. What we have fits our needs for the foreseeable future.
We did use this camera on one family vacation to Chicago. It takes amazing photos: crisp, clear with the option of having all settings on auto. There are a lot of features I'll miss.
Camera kit includes Camera body, 18-55mm lens (for regular shots, not macro- you will need to purchase a macro lens for close-up shots), USB cord, software, owner's manual and soft camera bag with surprising capacity. Also includes a light filter and misc. accessories.
Camera uses it's own rechargeable battery and includes charger.
