    FS/FT:Presorted Coppers by date

    Additional Information
    Asking Price: 1 kidney obo

I need to clear some things around here! I am going to let go of some of my unsearched but date sorted hoard of coppers.

I will stress that these are primarily unsearched and that the only reason I am letting them go is the fact that I have few hundred $$ face worth of boxes and tubes of BU Reds etc ,about $500 or so of unsorted bank boxes, few hundred $$ face of loose BU REDS, 2011 -2012 mint rolls , etc etc etc that I need to go thru, and the fact I need to free up some cash. I date sorted close to 1000lbs of coppers at one time and this was part of my hoard of riches from that.
These were machine sorted twice by my homemade rig and I'm confident there are only coppers in here.

I started to go thru the 1980s looking for the big 1, since it seems to be so elusive and I ended up spending an hour with one of my smaller coffee cans full. Since I lacked the experience, as I was first starting to sort coppers, and had little clue what I was looking for....What happened I just starting rushing thru them quickly ,when I just eventually ended up dumping them back in until I had a proper scope and time to look thru them I always have like a million cent searching projects going on. I have coins everywhere.

The first lots I am entertaining offers on will be

approx 25lbs of 1982 Coppers (almost all Large dates)

    approx 25lbs of 1980 Coppers

I'm not really in the mood for number crunching right now ,( as it's been some time since the copper bug bit me hard) but the "realistic market value" on coppers by weight right now is approx $60 or so for 25lbs after my quick calculations

I have lots of time sorting these by hand and eye for the dates after an originally 1000lb or so copper hoard

Oh do I have more.... ;)

Now all of these are mostly average circulated grades for those years but of course there are Reds etc in there.

Like I said I am entertaining offers on these.
I am located in Delaware, 45 minutes from Philly and this seems to be a good area where many of our members....

YES You, You know who You are! The local guys have found good DDOs from these years in the area.

I do have lots of more years by date but I'm not sure what I am doing with them at the moment.

My hoard of 1972s I may possibly entertain, but they are pretty much pre-searched for 004s only and I would guess I probably would have caught some blatant huge ,slap in the face DDOs, as they were date checked to the appropriate endless mounds of coppers I had hoarded. But I would assume its rich in DDOs as well as other yummy things.

Thanks and have a nice day, Pms or whatevers welcome

    Funny ad, Coppertop, thanks.
But, I'm not quite sure what all you're advertising. Could you sum it up somewhere in a list, with pricing? Also, to be honest, how could you have "only" searched for the 1972P-1DO-004, and not seen any others?
    -Sean
Search started in Sep 2011. 913,650 cents searched as of 9/24/13.

Hi , I only checked for the reverse DIE scratches thru United and no doubling at all
I don't really have time right now for a proper search, it may sound a bit unusual but after sorting thru 1000lbs of coppers, and prolly 3 times as much coinage to get to those coppers, I'm almost at my ends with these. The die 4 is a pretty BIGGie hence the quick search for this 1.

    List updated in bold
prices are negotiable or trades on any cherrypickers or potential rarities like rdv006s etc etc
I'm basicly trying to free up on some of the massive hoard of search material I've accumulated
If little interest I'll just sit on these until Im a crazy old lunatic :o)
    Thx

    Hi Sean,

Both these dates I found to be exceedingly rare, the 71s even more than the 1972.

The 1964 not as bad but still a rare date.

I have 10lbs of the 64s with maybe 15% of the lot being 64Ds

    And 8lbs of 71s

Because I really have no idea. I know you state they have not been searched. It is just troublesome trying to buy coins to search from someone you know that does.
