I started collecting Lincoln cents in cub scouts, for a merit badge , many years ago. I have also collected Proof and mint sets. Unfortunately I had to sell my collection. Now I' m starting over with Lincoln cents again. This time all must be EF or better. I'm retired Military. Never was really interested in error coins, may you folks will change my mind.

If you get interested in errors and varieties it ads more but a nice set of EF Lincolns is a fun set. Probably the same way most collectors start out.
Sometimes starting over is a good thing, you already have an idea of where you want to focus.

    Welcome aboard, have fun

Thanks for the welcome. The vast majority of my cents are UNC, Bu , Choice or Gem. The resin I stated EF was because the 1914D & 1909 S VDB get expensive at UNC.
