    That 1992-D with die deterioration doubling was the first coin I bought on eBay. Before I bought the book. I know better now.
    Luckily I only paid about five bucks. Not too expensive a lesson. I still have the coin though. I kept it as a reminder to buy the book before the coin or at least to learn before I bid.
