Just a tip JT...make sure you flip your pics upright. It's hard for these guys to flip a monitor. Where do you see the doubling, where we know what to look for. -
Lol yeah I didn't realize it until it was to late guess I figured everybody had a tablet like me lol anyway if your asking me where the doubling is IT COULD BE VERY POSSIBLE THAT THE DOUBLING IS IN MY EYESIGHT !!! OH WELL DIDN'T REALLY EXPECT IT TO BE ANY DIFFERENT BUT I DO APPRECIATE THE JOKE .......I PICTURED SOME OLD WHITE HAIRED FAT GUY WITH A ROBE ON ASKING HIS WIFE IS IT ME OR DID THIS DUMBAZZ PUT THA DAMN PENNY UPSIDE DOWN ..........WHO IN THE HELL TAKES A PICTURE UPSIDE DOWN NO WONDER HE THINKS ITS DOUBLED ......LOL....Comment

I use my phone so I can flip with no problem, but I'm sure some have laptops & PCs. There are more than a couple listings, so the location of the doubling helps narrow it down.Comment

The time has arrived for me to give my famous advice which usually pisses everyone off, but always works when followed. PUT THE PENNIES DOWN! Stop searching, and start reading! Go to the beginner section of the forum and read ALL of the sticky threads. Then go to the home page and read ALL of the pages there. Go to the glossary and read the entire thing. Buy some books, visit all of the on-line resources. Study, study, study. I promise you that you will be amazed about how fast you will learn these nuances as compared to the hunt and peck approach. Do you have any actual doubled dies or rpms to compare to the normal coins? If not, just PM me your address, I will send you a few for free so you can see them in hand. This usually helps tremendously. Good luck. All opinions expressed are not necessarily shared by willbrooks or his affiliates. Taking them may result in serious side effects. Results may vary. Offer not valid in New Jersey.Comment

If you'll notice, what you have arrows pointing at on the word God is md. Look at the doubling and take it away from the letters. Notice the letters are then smaller than they should be? Die doubling always adds to the original design, not take away. Like Will said. You can't know what to look for if you don't know the processes. I can't work on a car if I don't study how to do it. Right now all you're doing is looking at coins with known varieties and trying to hard to see the varieties. Like was said before, all coins made with a doubled die will have the exact same doubling. Please do some reading. Look over at coppercoins at photo examples of the dies.Comment

JT, you do realize the guys on the forum giving you the advice to take a break and study are without question the best minds in the hobby, right? If I had to put together an all-star team of Lincoln cent variety searchers, they would all come from here! They are giving you their time for FREE and they're doing it because they want to see you succeed and for no other reason. Take their advice, brother. If you don't heed their advice, they can't help you. I realized not long after joining here that, even though I didn't intend to, I was being disrespectful of the experts free time by not doing my homework before posting pics and questions. I know that's not your intention either but their free time deserves OUR best efforts beforehand. Show them the effort and they will show you the path to enlightenment.Comment

Not sure, but this may help some people out. I use Imagus which is a Hover Zoom (Like) browser extension for Chrome and Firefox. It allows you to hover over thumbs and attachments to display the image at full size. From there you can zoom, pan, flip rotate, among other things very easily. I find invaluable for inspecting images on forums.
Please don't think I'm condoning posting images upside-down, but it's nice to have when it happens.
Here a short little video if you want to see it in action.Comment

Jon, I tried to send you a PM, but you do not have them enabled. I wanted to explain the deleted posts.
First, please do not post in all capital letters. In the cyber world, that is considered to be "yelling." Also, I have deleted your personal attack on Bob. That is not acceptable behavior to us here on the forum. We aim here to educate, not to encourage incorrect information. That was Bob's point. You are allowed to disagree with experts. I do it all of the time, but you can choose to be respectful about it. Folks like Bob come here, giving out their knowledge, advice and decades of experience completely free of charge. You can take it or leave it, but personal attacks will not be tolerated.
