    Error Other | 1943 copper wheat? Help reading date please?

    Can anyone make out the date for sure on this copper cent with comparisons with this 1943 steel cent? I can’t tell if this could be an 8 or 3?

              That guy looks like he spent some time in the ground. I would have agree with Bob though. The full coin shot shows it better than the closeup.

                          Here are a PCGS 42 and PCGS 43 for a side by side comparison if that would help... I can not tell for sure but it looks like a 42???
