1990 Damaged coin 3.0928g -Your opinion?

Here we go again. Damaged coins seem to be a magnet.
I weigh all 1983, 1989 and 1990 pennies. This one weighs 3.0928 grams.

Obviously, it's also extremely damaged. I suspect 1980?

What's your opinion on its weight?

Looks like some one used that for parking lot fill PSD for sure... To me that looks like a 1980 not 1990... Since mid 1982 the lincoln cents have been copper plated zinc and weigh in at 2.5 +/-0.13 grams... Prior to mid 1982 they were a solid copper alloy at 3.11 +/-0.13 grams... If your coin had been a 1990 at 3.0928 grams that would have been a keeper for sure!!!

Thanks, JF. I keep all damaged coins. I'll keep it, either way. Who knows it's saga?! But, at least, it will be safe here. I draw and paint, so I probably see things different. Even damaged, they are beautiful, in their own way.

Drew this on an actual wall, at one time. Not there anymore. Painted the whole wall, also. DSC00014.JPG

No--- you are cool. Yes, that whole wall, the entire house, even drew bricks on the other wall. Since, it wasn't a brick house. So had to draw them in.

( the wall, there, I drew as well. Took a while)

That was many years ago. For now, am enjoying the Lincoln pennies.
