This is the 1958 S/D Lincoln Wheat cent that I described as having the "S" mintmark (which is a weakstrike) located next to the "8" in the date. Sorry about the pictures image's but this is the best that I could manage with he Nikon Coolpix camera with a 3.6x Zoom and 10 Megapixels. If you can manage to scan the coin and see if you can get a better look hopefully this will do the trick!!! But if not hopefully I have described exactly what I do see on the specimen and under the scrunity of the 10x loupe is the "S" mintmark which has the "ball" at the end of the mintmark and it shows all the charasteristics of a traditional "S" mintmark. Hopefully my creditionals and trustworthy eyes can convience you of this "RARE" find that I would never image having found but this specimen eventually be graded either by PCGS and/or NGS as to certifity this coin. Either way I know that this coin has this traditional "S" mintmark in a weakstrike fashion and as such will end this saying on this note. I know here is a lot of "uncertainty" as to this specimen and how it came about but I am of the most confidence that the numistastic world will scruntize and put this specimen through all but the stress and strains as to certifity this specimen and I am ready for these people's challenges in regards to this "RARE" find indeed!!!!
