1973D reverse die clash (MAD?)

    1973D reverse die clash (MAD?)

    Here is an example of a 1973D Lincoln Cent reverse.

    There is apparently, a typical die clash, however, if the top of Abe's head is just below the memorial, wouldn't it be a MAD?

    I would not qualify this as a MAD die clash. Even though it is misaligned, it is not that far off from a normal die clash.

      And here I thought that if Abes head was that far west it would have been a MAD... I'm glad we have pros like BJ to keep us straight... Thanks BJ!!!
