1982 D All Letters large DDO?

Hi,

I found this real good looking 1982 D. The thing sure looks like a Doubled Die
to me. Pics Below. The coin shines like a new one so it was hard to get pics.

Hi Jess, I know this 1982 has the look of a Class VI hubbed doubled die but it's not. This is just a normal looking large date 1982. This is a tough year to find a DDO in because of how large and wide all the elements are on the dies for this date.
Its a very nice looking coin. Keep up the hunt.

Hi Jess, you did good by looking. When a DDO does come your way you'll know it.
Keep comparing those dates to others, and don't get frustrated.
I'm sure one of them is ready to fall into your hands so be prepared!

I'm seeing something more than normal thickness, especially on GOD, it looks to be deterioration doubling.But 1982 is famous for that too.

All LMC issues in this year have letters and date with extra thickness that looks like doubled dies. I have kept so many of these at first, but set them aside when I learned they are not.

Many collectors have lost brain cells and probably hair too trying to find a large date DDO. Keep it up and maybe you'll find the next one...

Your not so good pic is better than my best... LOL... I agree with Maineman... I also think the "E" of WE shows more than normal thickness... It appears that the horizantal bars are almost touching... IMHO!!!
