    1980 DDR found

    I am positive i have found a 1980 ddr
But theres no record of it anywhere. All sides of the back are doubled,it isnt machine doubling, that is obviously not the case, also The back is starting to become the lovely green everyone hates, and at first i thought maybe it was do to
that, but one look at this thing and theres no question in my mind its a ddr . Anyone know anything about this ?!! Has one been found like it?
    Thanks

    Jennifer.

I have been looking for one forever . Let's see what you have. I would love to find one. Maybe I can check on my 1980s and compare. I will be rooting for you.

They will be up soon my scanner is crap ..the lincoln cent doesnt look the same as it does in your hand. Any tips on scanning a penny would be nice im scanning at 1200 and 2400.. i have played with the sharpness a bit but it just makes it look worse.... The doubling is not shelf like, and there is notching that can be seen . It may be tomarrow before i am able to post a good enough picture to give it justice.

                          Hi Jennifer,
I haven't tried scanning any pennies, I use a camera and try to get as close as I can to capture what I suspect to be "something"... is usually nothing though... lol Have you tried just taking a picture instead?

                            hmm

idk but i believe it was a false alarm..im still on the fence but it appears to be deterioration doubling scanner is up and working.. once it was scanned it was easier to see the mistake..woops
