Are coins from Spain found often?

Darrrrrrn I missed national talk like a pirate day LOL Where did the days go?

So I just opened a new penny roll today, and there is a 1 cent 2008 penny from Spain. I have never seen these before, I am surprised it was in there since it's so small... anyway I was just just curious if you guys/gals run across them often. I usually find Canadian pennies...

I have never seen a coin from Spain come out of a roll, however I get allot from Bahama, Panama, and of course Canadian coins. That is a change of pace.

I got a coin from South Africa and never knew how that got mixed in with pennies. Once in a while this happens.
Maybe you will get really lucky one day.

It's a euro cent. I find them on the coin machine magnets all the time.

That coin has one beautiful reverse!
Perhaps it got through the coin sorting machines as if it were a dime. In some bricks of Lincolns from the bank I have found as many as four dimes total, which is a bonus for me.

The only difference is that the coin was made in Spain... Each country of the European Union mints Euro coinage...The Euros' are accepted all throughout Europe and you do not need to worry about the exchange rate between the European countries that are on that system!!!

Nice find! I have also found several Euro 2c coins in my searches. The coin counters I get my bag's from seem to pass them right on through and count them as pennies.

They are fun to find and worth a bit more than a US cent - so I never complain about them

I found one a couple of weeks ago. Besides Canadians, I think I have found only four foreign coins to date.

                          ### Make that five! I am currently going through a $50 bag from my local bank and just this minute pulled a 10 Euro from 1999. It's the size of a nickel, so makes it even a little more odd coming out of a penny bag. Ya never know!###
