    Question on possible doubled column

    Hey Friends,
I've found several doubled column DDR's and normally they appear to be one, sometimes two, thick doubled lines. I found this earlier and it appears to be made up of many very thin lines.

What do you all think of it???
    Opinions appreciated

It probably is a DDR. There are a whole bunch of them for this year.

I think that its likely a DDR as well. I also have one around here somewhere that is very much like that. I almost dismissed it as zinc plating problem due to the thin lines in the doubling. I will be interested to hear some other opinions on this one.

One thing that makes me question this being a DDR is that you say it appears to be made of tiny lines. This sounds more like die damage from abrasion or something else. A doubled column should be solid and not a series of closely spaced scratches.

I see nothing that looks like doubling to me.

It's a bird! It's a plane! Aw nuts... It's merely two die scratches!

It is doubling but very small. Bob can answer this.
