    1977 D Double and Dull?

Thank you,Friends... for your Supportive Replys. Here, I am sharing a FIND from the days when I did not even know what a US MINT error was.Still, I believe I happened to find a Good coin. This coin,1977 D,just hours ago from finding it,I was seeing on the NET on a Auction site with a bunch of other very expensive contenders like 100-150 old coins...and this coins pic was
in that listing. As I walked out...on Hot summer day... I saw a bunch of people who like to throw there pennys away on the ground (homeless, peddlers,) etc.I spotted this Penny while standing up and asked if I could buy it...they wanted to give it away...I brought Penny for a Penny. And that the Story. Please,KINDLY disregard all the other pic of coins...My interest is to show you the 1977 D its Second from the Left hand side TOP Side. What this coin is...or its value I still have no idea?
    1977 is written THICK
MINT mark is a THICK (Blobed)
    LIBERTY is THICK
On the Back the Bigger AM seem to show as well.

Sorry Beck, but the pics are just too small to be able to zoom in on the anomalies you are pointing out. Any chance of a close-up photo of that coin?

PS:I actually have 2 of em...I'd recommend to download the pic to your computer and use Windows to Enlarge to image.I do it
myself and can see a lot of detail at around 5-10 times enlarged ZOOM in via Windows XP.God Bless!
PS:The reason I put it up is because I saw it on a Auction site linked to Ebay...and within hours I found it.It was kinda startling discovery.Yet,up to now I still have absolutley no idea whats its Worth?

Thanks, for your interest,The coin is Top side, second from far left.I you'd like, you can download the pic to your computer, and ZOOM in using Windows XP or similar program.Thats how I do it when I get pictures scanned at Walmart on a disk. There is nothing else on the DISK...when Walmart gives you this Disk you can't copy anything else on to it.Its clean...again,second coin from the left Top side.Friend,up till now I still have no idea what this Error or variety is called,or worth?I also learned something new just in the last 24 hours... I thought errors were all there was,and the word VARIETY did not lure me till I just yesterday found a 1998 MINT MS-68 virtually uncirulated coin AM Close Variety.I read on Answers.com that the AM close variety was for PROOF issue of he S Mint Mark only, but I have one for just 1998...I even found a AM Close for 1994..I found nothing on the NET regarding a AM close for 1994....they said that the 1992,1999 varietys were scarce....any Advise..God Bless!

                  Beck,
I am becoming very concerned about you advising people to download your pictures to their computers and use their own software to view pics. That is not their responsibility, and it seems as though it could be a spam/virus/security risk to do so.
We would be more than happy to assist, but it is ultimately YOUR responsibility to provide good enough photos to get honest opinions of our membership.
I am also concerned about your reluctance to go with those opinions already offered. The folks here can help, but if you don't like the responses, you need to accept that. If there is a difference of opinion between the membership, you should probably have the coin looked at.
In addition, a lot of the 'surprises' you keep finding are normal, everyday coins. There are minor differences based on things like wear, die state, environmental factors etc. You need to study up on these.

What you have there is a very rare 1977 normal cent. Worth almost double face value...in copper!!. But thats about it.

Oh, and all 1994s have close AMs..Sorry
