No Mint Mark means it was made at the Philadelphia mint. There are three mints where they are made. The other two are D for Denver, S for Sacramento.

While a lot of the other denomination place a P mintmark to identify the Philadelphia Mint as the maker, Lincoln cents are a special case. They have never placed a P mintmark on the cent to identify Philadelphia.

Wendell and Karah summed it up nicely. If a penny does not have a mintmark, that means it came from the Philadelphia mint. The other 2 mintmarks you will find on pennies are D for the Denver mint, and S for the San Francisco mint.

There was an exception from 1965 thru 1967 when mint marks were not on any denomination and could be from any of the mints.
