1941 S DDO? first time using photoshop layers for coins

    Hello
I just received in the mail today a very nice roll of wheats that I bought from pennies4pennies and a generous gift of a nice bu 1946 Thank you for that one Frank!

This 1941 S (from the roll of wheats) looks like it matches the 1941S-1DO-002 from coppercoins. I tried using my photoshop cs5 for the first time to layer my coin with the #2 example from coppercoins and it seems to be a good match so far. It does have the matching die marker above the left wheat on the reverse. The other die markers are not there, maybe due to PMD... Is this a DDO? or is it all just PMD making the date, motto & Liberty look thick?

    Thanks for you help again

I see a die flow line on both images with the date. NW from inside corner of the 4 that matches on both coins. So I say it is a match.
Richard S. Cooper Some have asked about my images I use, and I'm glad to say I've completed a DVD of these. Ask if you are interested. Newer members like these.

It's a class VI and seems to match up with 002; nice find!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate all the help. Using Photoshop sure is time consuming, however I can now see how it helps with matching a questionable cent.
