The number of dies does not indicate the number of coins minted with those dies. You have to assume that the RDV-006 dies were the last ones used in 1988, as they were not to be used until 1989. That being said, no one knows just how many coins each mint needed to finish their 1988 production run. Also there were about 840,000,000 more Philly minted cents than Denver minted cents in 1988.

As to value, I completely agree with Jason, his was indeed the best answer.

In fact, if wondering about values for the Denver issue, you could just add a zero onto those prices and be pretty dead on for each grade.

I said in a thread about RDV's last year that I thought the 1988 RDV-006's were sleepers and undervalued, and I still believe that. If it weren't for the fact that I'm so cheap and stubbornly holding out to "find" them in circulation, I would be buying them up at the current rate when made available. Now that I hear they are most likely going to be added to the next CPG, I believe without a doubt they will go up in value. And I believe that will reflect in actual hammer prices too. In the last 3 years I have found 2 and still have one. I better get busy with my searching I think.
