    1989D Extra I and 1989 Think FG

Searching today and ran across these two Pennies. Still learning here so don't know if they are worth anything. I couldn't find any info on theses. The first one is a 1989 D with what looks to be an extra I between the I and B. the second penny is a 1989 and looks to have thicker FG on the reverse. Let me know what ya'll think. and sorry if this is common still learning and getting use to my scope.

That is normal for this year. They were designed that way.

I think the first one is suffering from a little deterioration and agree with coop on the second on as far as FG being bolder.

I agree, the appearance of an extra I is from the fields lowering from die wear (recessed on the die means raised on the struck coin); and the FG is normal, known as RDV-006 introduced in 1989. Die wear on the '80s plated Lincolns was terrible.
