Found something??
Found PAINT....when I tried to Enlarge to 600 pixels ...the photo was so Distorted......I went back. Question: At the beginning when you upload the photos......you're able to Enlarge them there........how come you can't go THAT way? Yep..I'm not doing something......or just computer illiterateComment

The photos need to originate from the source (your camera) as being a certain size. A photo editor can help, but if they are too small already, making them bigger won't help. What size are they coming from your camera?

I recommend an old version of paintshop pro. They can be had on ebay for $10 or so. Great program, powerful but also easy to use:

It would probably help if you told us which camera you were using to get the pics in the first place.Comment

I would agree, the thread is going nowhere...instead of posting a thread how about contacting the member?Comment

Simon, you are a genius!
Ogler, if you are using a camera and not a cell phone as suggested, you will have to go into the camera's setting and adjust the pixel rate.I currently have mine set at 2272x1704. This will help with the output of the pictures you are taking as well as the clarity and the colouring.
Also, maximize on your zoom option and take full advantage of macro.
I didn't understand any of this jargon until a little while back. I got so freaking frustrated that I set aside a few hours and played with my camera and its settings until I figured it out on my own. While I still do not understand the term or relative purpose to macro, I know it has helped me tremendously when I am photographing coins, or anything really.
As to your opening post, I am assuming that you have purchased the camera from Roger (Maineman). Look up the model and brand of camera on the net and research its functions and settings. Take initiative dude! lol
Good luck!
