Is this a Fake 1914-D on eBay?

I came across this auction for a 1914-D Lincoln on eBay and this coin doesn't look right. There is too much space, it appears to me, between the 9 and the first 4 in the date which makes me wonder if it is an altered 1944-D. I can't see if there is the VBD under the bust or not.

I'd appreciate opinions on the coin since I am by no means an expert on this.

I think your analogy is spot on with this coin. Not to mention the fact that if someone was really selling a key coin like this, they would use much better photos.

I should have written the that there appears to be too large a space between the 9 and the 1, which may be an altered 4.

I too would like to know a direct page for specifically reporting coins. Every time I click the link on the auction page, it takes to to an area where I can only give vague, broad reasons for why the auction is a violation. Surely there's got to be a way to very specifically report an item.

The only other link I have found only allows you to input item numbers. It does not even let you describe what is wrong.
