    1940 and a chip?

I also found this one last night. It is another 1940 wheat. It looks like part of the 4 broke off. Once again, I have no clue what caused this, but still find it interesting. But then again, I find a lot of things interesting. I searched about thirty 1940 wheats last night and found this and the other cent with the crack. The fun is in the search, whether I find anything of interest or not. One day I am sure I will find something really cool, like a DDO or DDR or something along those lines.

    You're right, it's a die chip.

I would say it is either a die chip or some metal pushed over somewhere post strike.
