1972-D ?Die Break with retained cud?

I'm not totally sure that it would be identified as a die break with retained cud since it is not located along the rim. The "cud"/die break is along the last memorial column on the right. Corresponding area on the obverse is a blank area.
What would the experts label this as? I know it wouldn't add too much of a premium either.

That would be a huge chip. Cuds are basically the same thing but on the rim .

There is some discrepancy among collectors as to the meaning of CUD, but mostly that refers to a break connected to the rim. This is simply a large die chip.

Interior die brake. Not a cud. I would keep it though.

Chip is the word I was looking for. Thank you so much. I had a stroke 5 years ago and my memory isn't any good anymore. I feel stupid sometimes but I try to research as much as I can before I post and ask questions.
