    1987 ddd & md

      Not really seeing any MD, but definitely die deterioration doubling all the way.

          I think that sort of a bulge just inside the rim along the motto area is die wear, I only see it that way on cents from the zinc years. Maybe someone can explain why, I'm guessing the zinc wears dies differently.
