    1946 Lamination Error

In this lamination error 194 appears above a piece of laminate and a part of the number 6 below the laminate. Is real my appreciation. I would like opinions.

Terrific lamination error! Did you have a question about it, or just showing it?

Exactly Willbrooks I do not understand as part of number 6 may appear below the lamina.

A lamination error is a thin slice of metal. It would not remove all the traces of the numbers/letters, only a bit off the top. Since the strike is relatively deep, everything underneath the lamination would retain the majority of its detail. A thicker lamination peel would remove more of the metal. A thinner lamination peel would remove less.
