Land of the USA Counter Stamped Sets

I have the 1975P Set. But I think they also made sets in 1976 and use both P & D Mint Marks. Did they make a 1975-D Set?

    7/3/2013
A company called Clayton Inc. produced sets of Counter Stamped Sets called ""Land of the USA" and it had one each coin Counter Stamped of all 50 states as picture below. I have the 1975-P set. Does any have or know if they made a 1975-D set? I've seen on ebay the 1976 sets. Anyone on the forum have complete sets of "Land of the USA"? If so what are the dates.

I hate to rain on your parade here, but private mints make these on coins at least as early as 1967 and as late as 1996. It's not a short-set, and there is no rhyme or reason to the date/mintmark on the coins being attached to a time when they were made...meaning that your 1975 set could have easily been made in 1997. This is not a mint product, so there is no rule about issuing them only in the year on the coin.

Coppercoins is correct. You can actually buy the punch and make them yourself. I've found 2 in circulation this year. A 1974-D with Kennedy stamped in front of Lincoln's face and a 1982 small date with the Mason symbol stamped in the same place.

Sorry, I should restate the question. See additions above,

I have a number of these also. I was looking more for the complete sets made by Clayton Inc. "Land of the USA" I think some of the single Counter Stamps I have came from some of these sets.

From the research I've done, I've found Land of the USA sets for 1973, 1974, 1975, and 1976 but I haven't seen any sets for the Denver mint. However, I found another forum where a gentleman said he had some single coins from 1974-D and 1975-D with the state counter stamp. In my opinion, the Land of the USA sets were never created with only Denver mm coins from 1975. I will keep looking and update my post if I find them.

Thanks, I did some research on Clayton Inc. So far a dead end. I did find a company called Clayton Metal that was formed in 1976.

Clayton could be the company that made the displays for another company that did the counterstamps. Just a possibility.

Never thought of that. The display I have has a Copy Right dated 1974. Thanks, I'll search the Internet for companies that might do or have done counterstamping.
