    Coin cartography key?

Hey, I would be forever greatful if someone would explain how to apply the common reference, for example, of "K-10" as it pertains to a specific point on a coin. No luck in the glosseries. One of those things I suppose that everyone assumes everyone knows. Thanks.

I think the K system can be thought of as a clock, when imagining the "pivot point" for a doubled die. For instance, the 1995P die 1 "shows a strong spread from K-4". What I take this to mean was that the pivot point for this doubled die was approximately at 4 o'clock. Since that is where the pivot point is, the doubling will be the least strong there, and the strongest directly opposite (in the words "IN GOD).
Jason, one of the members here, has a good graphic explaining what I mean. You can read it here.
