now I know about the 98', 99', 00' Wide AM
I didnt know there was a 1999-S close AM they all
look close to me. or is it just the 1999 S thats
a close AM?
The proofs are supposed to be Wide AM (RDV-006). There are varieties of 1998S and 1999S with Close AM (RDV-007) with 1998S being more rare I do believe. Here's an article from PCGS on the said coins.
yes the 98 s cam is more rare..
.basically..
1998 1999 2000 WAM have a proof reverse or a space that is bigger between the A and the M..... the M is located in the center between the A and the E...the FG is located closer to the building... the G looks different
the 1998 s and 1999 s CAM have a circulation style reverse or ALMOST NO SPACE between the A and the M.... the M is located closer to the A tan the E....the FG is located farther away from the building... the G is different...
These "types" are from 1993 to 2008 for the close AM circulation coins...and 1994 to 2008 wide AM for the proof style coins...
