          Damaged.

I often suggest newer collectors to buy a $25 bank box of customer rolled (i.e. used) Lincoln cents from the bank. Go through the entire 2500 Lincolns. Put question cents to the side. When your done, you should be able to answer some of the questions yourself after having went though a number already. Pick the 5 most interesting and post them here.

I have 7 water coolers of pennies filled to the brims Im only halfway
through 1 of them so I expect Im going to see alot more damaged cents.
              thanks for the insight.

I'd say shot with a BB gun....? or struck with something like a punch.

To me it looks like split plating on the reverse of the coin, and the zinc is now rotting away and collapsing on the obverse. No extra value for this. Spendable

I think coop may be correct. It looks like there may be a blister in the depression as well.
