I just came upon a very nice looking 1943 S, which looks to be a possible new DDO (can't find any info for a variety, or RPM, resembling the attached)? It also has a crazy RPM... I can't tell what's going on in there, but my eyes make out a couple of S's and at least one D? Perhaps there are more than 2 S's, creating an illusion of an intermingled D? I see notching on date, IGWT, Liberty, and the Ear appears to be doubled (as well as the entire bust); eye, chin area, back of neck, nose, lips, etc... Hope you can make out some of what I'm seeing through the pictures provided... Looking forward to what you guys think!

Coin looks replated in my opinion, which could explain the "doubling" you are seeing. I think the mintmark also may have taken a hit or two. -
If you look at reprocessed steel cents first they look "really nice" but if you look closer you see they have wear like the cheek is flat and the ear is worn. That's what this one looks like to me.
Like Simon said the re-plating can fill in areas and pools along the details making things look doubled.Comment

Definitely reprocessed absolutely no question about that.
And you are seeing 'doubling' as a result of that re-plating. This is not a doubled die and this is not a repunched mintmark.Charles D. Daughtrey, NLG, Author, "Looking Through Lincoln Cents"
