    1966 machine doubling

    ok first post ever and yeah i'm the new guy. I've been reading these forums for a about a year now so i know better then to waste megabytes with novice inquiries so will you guys please confirm my 1966 is a classic case for machine doubling , thankyou

    Classic MD, but I'd hang on to it anyway. It's pretty dramatic. Welcome to LCR.

      Welcome to the forum! Don't worry about posting novice questions, that is how you and other novices learn.

      To answer your question, yes, it is textbook example of MD. I would hang onto it for educational purposes.

          thanks for the replies i have alot more machine doubling Lincoln cents , rpm 's and so many ddo's and ddr's i lost count i will post some more later today ....EVL1

                    ok so right now im going threw about 500 Lincoln cents all from the 1960's including a handful of 69 "S's" i know one thing i will not sleep till every coin is examined thoroughly....EVL1

                      That's always fun!
                      I've often searched late at night and if there's a great find it's funny because there's nobody to show it to LOL

                      If you find some that need a closer look, put them aside.
                      Take your time.
                      I used to put coins in piles or rolls of the same date/mm. That works pretty well because you can look on Coppercoins at the listings for one date/mm then search that roll. It does help you know what to look for.

                        I have a container labelled Errors/Anomalies/Damage Any coin that even looks remotely like something gets placed there. Then I search later...
