    MS grading

So, with my recent hoard purchase of BU cents, I have a whole box of loose lustrous beauties on top of the OBWs. Looking through a few of them I wanted to ask about this one. I figure this is a good opportunity for me to learn more about MS grading, which is a weakness for me. This 2007 cent looks pretty clean to me except for the boogie at 5 and 6:30. How do you think it would grade without those boogers, and how much does the existence of those drop it? The reverse is the same as the obverse. Thanks for any input.

You may wish to post a pic of the reverse to get the final grade.

I'd love to tell you more of what I have learned Will, but grading from digital images is impossible... I can tell you that your spot at 7:00 would keep it out of contention for a [valuable] high grade.

Can you PM me after the weekend to remind me- when we get home I want to send you a group of raw graded modern cents to give you a better feel. Also- check out PCGS price guide for late date Lincolns- they have excellent photos of nearly all years in high and ultra high grades, that has been a great reference for us.
