    What the heck caused this?

    Looks like chemical damage of some kind but it's pretty unique with the purple color and bubbling, and it being a perfect circle in the center of the coin. Any thoughts on what might do this?

      Acidic damage or the aliens have returned and the exhaust melted the metal a bit... LOL!!!

        If the back looks normal - I agree with acid -- If it has burned/bubble marks - it was used in a fusebox
