    1970-S Small Date/Large Date?

Tell me what you think. Is it a small date or large date? The images aren't that good, but I am pretty sure I can tell. Just want some more input.

PS: I took a chance for $6.66 shipped. I'll let you know for sure when it gets home.

Its kinda hard to see, i only go by the curl of the 9, which you cant see but it looks nice. Id say worth the 7 bucks regardless if its a large date or not. Good Luck!

I think you got a deal...weak LIBERTY and curl of 9 pointing the right way....now if he sends that coin, you'll be good.

He had 3 different 1970-S coins. I hope he sends "3". The description says "picture is item in add", so if he doesn't I'll return it.

I was going on weak LIBERTY & size/shape of the 7.

          Liberty does look weak.
He mentions small dates and not being able to tell, the pic looks like a SD but not clear enough.

It may work out, report back when you get it.

          Good luck

I thought so too, but there has been some talk on another forum about high shipping possibly being associated with insurance. Self-insured, rather than through the postal service. It makes sense, but I still think it's a way to get a little more revenue.

From those photos I cannot tell "witch" it is either. The poor grammar is not a good sign.

That's more than double what it should cost to ship it via usps first class mail. That would get a one star in shipping price feedback from me with maybe a harsh word in the text.

Hopefully it's a winner, nice eye!

It looks like we will never know for sure. I got an email from the seller's wife. He, unexpectedly, passed away on the 21st. She doesn't know where he kept his things for sale and is going to refund me. I just feel terrible for the lady.
