    Double Doubling?

Can a Lincoln cents have more than one type of doubling on a single coin, single side?

Yes, a single coin-side can have multiple classes of doubled die, and can have multiple types of non-collectible doubling as well.
All opinions expressed are not necessarily shared by willbrooks or his affiliates. Taking them may result in serious side effects. Results may vary. Offer not valid in New Jersey.

Thank you, I've had this question in and out of my mind for weeks now and just forget to ask. How does two types of doubling happen to one cent? Does this mean that the coin has two listings?

I guess the question to ask is where can I find a video or I reference on and how it happens?

Here's a good example, 3 classes (class 4, 5, 8) of hub doubling on the same die:

And any coin can have MD so you could potentially find an example that also has MD.

          Added:
Just like any single class doubled die, the same causes can cause multiple classes.
Some dies were hubbed multiple times so a different class of doubling can be there on each hubbing.
MD comes when the coin is struck, it can happen on a coin that was a doubled die, same as it happens on a normal one.

Just adding, I think there can also be multiple classes of doubling from the same hubbing.
For example, there can be tilting (class 8) plus pivoting or offset so that could be from the same hubbing.
Not sure how to explain it better, I mean you might have die that was hubbed twice but in the end it might have multiple classes.
Maybe someone can add to that and explain it better

I still need to learn how a penny is made the whole process from start to finish, where's the best place to acquire this knowledge besides a U.S. Mint

You can find some videos on the internet.
I think TLC or Discovery had a show about the mint and die making but it didn't go into doubled dies, it showed about making of the galvanos for state quarters.
Books like the CPG have sections on die making.
