Is this a 1970S Small Date? So darn hard to tell.

    Hello,

I know this question must get asked at least 700 times a week, but I just want to make sure.

Is this a 1970s SD? I think it is. I just got it for $3. It's a Proof in just amazing condition (the dirty thing is the flip that it's in, The coin has got a little bit of toning, but otherwise it's unblemished.)

This is also the first proof I've ever seen in my life. It's so pretty! I had no idea!

Pic is a little small but that looks like a large date. Can you get closer up on the shot?

Sure. I thought my tech was a little limited, but I seem to have done it.

Yep, confirmed large date. Blunt inner curl of 9, tail of 7 dips below the 0, the 0 is oval, etc.

Richard S. Cooper Some have asked about my images I use, and I'm glad to say I've completed a DVD of these. Ask if you are interested. Newer members like these.
