    Mint set vs Special Edition.

1982 I'm finding Special Editions are the Post Mint made up by other than Mint?
Also is there any Mint sets released from the Mint sets for 1982 or 1983.
I did not know these even existed until today! Or what you be a good price to buy?
    Thanks

There were no mint sets released in 1982 or 1983
There was special sets sold at each mint called "Denver mint souvenir set" and "Philadelphia mint souvenir set"

so to get a " mint set " for those 2 years you would have to go to the Philadelphia mint and buy a set then go to Denver mint and buy a set
    for both years

with no mint sets released by the mint... there are a lot of aftermarket created sets out there

pictures of the sets can be found here: LINK

Searching E-BAY you can find the set from both mint for either year prices vary quite a bit.
I have seen both 1982 sets and would like one day to get both the 1982 and 1983 sets

Thanks! Thought about the one II saw and it didn't have the ink on the ends. It was in the 60 style type holder on the Mint set.
      Special sets I concur.

The only thing I can add the great answer you already got...
This is probably why unc 1983 quarters cost a LOT.
They can't get them from mint sets and 83 was a year where people seem to not have had extra money to save rolls of quarters, if you want a shock go look at prices for 82-83 quarter rolls!

I have and yes shocked. Wish I had bought a few dozen rolls of these.
This is not the set I was looking at but similar and easy to be confused well for me. Thanks
